The journey of family Zimmer and the story of
Sri Siam Holidays and Sri Siam Leisure

1. 1975

   The first trip

   Eberhard Zimmer travels to Thailand for the first time. The trip becomes an idea.

2. 1976

   Thailand in the stationery shop

   In his stationery shop in Stuttgart, Eberhard Zimmer offers the first trips to Thailand.

3. 1986

   Norbert moves to Thailand

   Eberhard’s eldest son Norbert goes to Thailand to support his father’s business on the ground.

4. 1997

   His own path

   Norbert Zimmer sets up on his own, with his own travel agency in Bangkok. The motto: Small and Beautiful. Know every guest, have travelled every route ourselves.

5. 2010

   Across the border

   We plan the first trips to Cambodia for our guests, soon followed by Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos. We still work with some of the partners from those days. Some of them have become close friends.

6. 2015

   A home of our own

   Sri Siam Holidays moves into its new office building in Bangkok.

   Fun fact: For the first two years, the Zimmer family still lived in it themselves, dog included. Then they had to move out because the company was growing too fast.

7. 2021

   50,000 guests

   More than 50,000 guests have chosen to travel with Sri Siam Holidays. We remain grateful for that to this day.

8. 2026The big

   Sri Siam Leisure

   Sri Siam has outgrown the family business of 1997. For everything it has become, there has been a company of its own since 2026: Sri Siam Leisure Co., Ltd., with a name that fits what we do, and with the website srisiamleisure.com. The offer in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia and Malaysia is growing.

9. 2026The small

   Sri Siam Holidays

   Sri Siam Holidays once again becomes what it was in 1997: a small family business, strengthened by Alisa Zimmer, with a focus on the Thai market and as a training ground for the next generation. Small and Beautiful, this time literally again.

10. 2027planned

    Sri Siam goes international

    Sri Siam opens up to English-speaking guests, with two partner websites of its own.
